Grass Cutting and Mowing Contractor in Staffordshire & Cheshire
Green Horizons has provided grass cutting and mowing services across Staffordshire, Cheshire and the surrounding counties from our base in Leek since 1998. We mow for commercial clients, councils, housing agencies, estates and large private grounds, either on a regular contract or as a one-off job.
Regular grass cutting
Regular mowing is provided on a weekly or fortnightly basis. For fields and rough grassland that only need a monthly cut, see field and paddock mowing. Every visit is prearranged as part of a package that suits the site, and we use a variety of specialised, well-maintained machinery to get the work done.
Cut and collect, or cut and drop
We can collect the cuttings as we mow, or cut and drop, leaving the cuttings on the ground. Where cuttings are collected, we can take them away: we are a licensed green waste carrier, so the whole job is handled by one team.
Strimming and brushcutting
Where an area cannot be reached by larger machinery, our strimmers take over, and our commercial brushcutters deal with ground where mowing is not possible.
Getting a price
Where possible, we give an estimate by email first, then make a site visit and provide a quotation. For mowing it helps to tell us the approximate size of the site, whether there are obstacles and when it was last cut: for example, "approximately 5,000 square metres, no obstacles, last cut 18 months ago".
